Well as Lou Reid sang, a perfect day, glorious sunshine all day & Uncle Sam into the Maple Leaf Country

Well as Lou Reid sang, a perfect day.

Started off in the states, dull and grey. But the chop had died down from the night before, and the wind gone. We passed the Demarcation point from Uncle Sam into the Maple Leaf Country and the sun came out.

Sea calmed down, clouds cleared, and glorious sunshine all day. I have written this twice before, just before midnight. In the blue lagoon and the next day the wind came up and we were stuck for 7 days. The other when we thought we had finally got through the ice. After posting the blog at 11 30, we were stopped by the ice. So, I will wait until midnight before posting this.

The sunset, with its sun dogs were really impressive. Also, In the far distance you could see the mountains around Herschel Island,

Even a high level Jet with its vapour trail few over. A great sight, for a small speck on the Ocean.

We have also hopefully resolved our fuel supply in Tuktoyaktuk tomorrow, Will explain more tomorrow.

Just past midnight, as I said a Perfect day.

David
