7th to morning 8 Sept (UTC) Coronation Gulf

Boat life in the Coronation Gulf. Making tea and can crushing

Barbara being shown a highwayman’s hitch, or in Norway a smuggler’s hitch by Johan who has written a book on knots in Norwegian

No swell as we are in an area with land all round, but in the head wind it is choppy and sometimes the bow hits the waves with a splash. Benji is trying to look cool on watch in the rain with the boat heading into wind.  It is now pretty cold, wet and windy so saying cool is not a problem.

Heat mirage at 110W (sea water warmer 7.5C than the air), and sunrise showing the curvature of the earth
